Environmental research publications

Humans have an impact on the environment that can be seen in changing climate and the availability of clean water and food across the globe. These changes and the activities that produce them have also been linked to increasing environmental health problems that result in lower quality of life. New strategies are needed to slow or reverse these changes and ensure that all people have a chance to live healthy, productive lives.

This collection features publications that highlight strategies to assess and mitigate the impact that humans have on the environment and feature important policy implications in the areas of energy production, sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Innovative technologies can produce energy without carbon-based resources, improve crop yields with lower energy requirements, and ensure economic and environmentally sustainable practices in a range of settings.
