Christopher Wade is a member of our applied economics team focused on issues related to the environment, climate change, land use, and forests. He uses dynamic optimization models, applied econometrics, and mathematical simulations to help inform decisions about environmental policies.
Mr. Wade recently developed a developed a case study for USAID on past and future water availability in Mindanao, an island in the Philippines, using hydroeconomic modeling. He has also performed risk analysis on potential dam failures. Before joining RTI in 2016, Mr. Wade worked on a mathematical simulation aimed at predicting the damages associated with being in a flood zone. He also has professional experience reviewing clinical trial documents for compliance with Food and Drug Administration regulations.
