Mission success depends on precise information in every facet of military preparation. For more than 40 years, RTI has provided the U.S. military with trusted data and innovative solutions to maintain and increase force health, readiness, and protection.
Key contributions to warfighter health and mission success include:
- Studying stellate ganglion block to improve warfighter health and performance by treating PTSD and other behavioral health conditions.
- Testing protective clothing against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) threats and hazardous biochemicals.
- Management and research contributions in warfighter brain health through the North Carolina Center for Optimizing Military Performance (NC-COMP).
- Developing the SIGMA+ Health application; an initiative allowing operational forces to have secure, critical real-time health data.
- Enhancing water resource management and operational planning through modeling and simulation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
In bridging the divide between science and practice, we support Service members and their families through proven procedure, methods, and an understanding of the unique challenges they face.
