Improving Data Quality with Survey Technology Services
To improve data quality, collection, and analysis, we provide programming support for multiple modes of data collection, including computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI), computer-assisted personal interviewing (CAPI), and web surveys. We also develop applications to collect data on mobile devices. To make it easier to manage field interviews and identify potential fraud or data quality problems, we pioneered the use of computer audio-recorded interviewing (CARI). We developed audio computer-assisted self-interviewing (ACASI) for administering surveys with sensitive topics, earning an Innovators Award from the American Association of Public Opinion Research. Our high-volume mapping services support survey operations and data collection, and we provide offline mobile mapping solutions to support precise field data collection efforts in areas in which Internet connectivity is not available.
