Marie-Ange Binagwaho has 28 years’ experience in the international development field, 10 of them as a Knowledge Management (KM) and capacity building leader for USAID-funded projects. Her career has focused on the design, management, and implementation of socioeconomic projects in Africa, North America, and South Asia. She brings significant expertise in information management and learning, community outreach, microfinance and microenterprise development, and organizational capacity building.
Ms. Binagwaho currently serves as the Senior KM and Communications Specialist for the US Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Environment Communications, Learning and Outreach (ECO) project, where she is responsible for assessing KM and communication needs and identifying and implementing appropriate KM and communication activities and programs for three offices within the E3 Bureau of USAID. She is also the Senior KM and Collaboration, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) advisor on the USAID-funded Sahel Resilience Learning (SAREL) project based in Niger, where her focus is helping partners determine promising resilience practices and building local capacity through the application of CLA tools and methodologies.
Throughout her career, Ms. Binagwaho has provided technical assistance to multiple organizations, including CARE Inc. and PLAN International.
