Mandy Sha leads large-scale research studies that focus on language, technology, and hard-to-reach populations to improve coverage and data quality of the US Census. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), she is an expert in providing pragmatic solutions to achieve client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
She has conducted in-person and web seminars for an international audience on data collection, qualitative research, and multilingual pretesting. She also regularly publishes on these topics and is special journal issue editor for Survey Practice and Translation & Interpreting.
Before joining RTI in 2005, Ms. Sha was a survey manager at NORC and the University of Chicago Survey Lab for five years. She is a member of the American Association for Public Opinion Research and co-chairs the Cross-Cultural and Multilingual Research affinity group that connects industry leaders and fosters scientific stature.
