Edwin Moya is the Deputy Chief of Party for the Progresa con Educación project in Honduras. This five-year project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by RTI, aims to strengthen education outcomes for over 300,000 students in grades 6-9.  

Mr. Moya has over 20 years of experience in the education sector in Honduran. He served as executive director of Centro Nacional de Educación para el Trabajo, within the Ministry of Education, and in various project management roles, including as project director for the International Labor Organization (ILO) and Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party for projects financed by USAID and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. In these roles, he helped improve efficiency in education processes and systems.

In addition, Mr. Moya has also worked as a consultant for projects funded by  the European Union and the World Bank, with bilateral cooperation from Finland, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

 He is a native Spanish speaker with working proficiency in English.
