Catherine Hersey is a member of our Health Care Quality and Outcomes program. She combines work experience in health care with an academic background in public health to contribute to projects that improve health care quality and encourage innovation in the field.
Ms. Hersey has been involved in several projects for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She currently leads work for the Medicare Shared Savings program, a Medicare ACO model. She also has in-depth experience with projects on state-led health reforms, electronic health records, hospital-acquired infections, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
Ms. Hersey joined RTI in 2011. She also has experience as a contract manager for Medicaid managed care in Massachusetts, as a rehabilitation support coordinator for clients with severe mental illness, and as a personal care attendant.
