RTI International Statement: Business Update Regarding COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented public health and economic challenges around the world. RTI International (RTI) takes pride in our reputation as a research Institute with extensive public health expertise. We realize the significance of this global situation and the need to employ steps to contain and mitigate the COVID-19 outbreak.

Since Wednesday, March 18, our U.S.-based staff have been advised to work from home for the foreseeable future. This approach is consistent with recommendations from public health officials, and reflects the actions taken by many organizations across the United States. Our international offices and staff members worldwide are adjusting work arrangements to reflect the situation in each country.

Additionally, we are monitoring the health of our workforce population and following the guidance offered by local government officials and public health agencies in each country should they show potential signs of exposure.

Public health is a core competency of RTI. RTI scientists and technical experts are engaging experts at peer institutions and public health officials on many fronts, adding their expertise to the global fight against COVID-19.

As governments, businesses and other organizations take measures to help mitigate the spread of the outbreak, RTI reinforces our commitment to our employees, our clients and our mission of improving the human condition.
