Sarah Sheff is a research communications analyst in RTI’s Center for Communication and Engagement Research. Dr. Sheff specializes in health communication with a specific focus on message design and evaluation. She is trained in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and uses her expertise in collecting and analyzing interview and focus group data to strategically inform message and campaign design across public health topics. She is currently involved in multiple government-funded projects aimed at improving digital health messaging about critical public health issues, including COVID-19, HIV prevention, and tobacco use.

Before joining RTI in 2022, Dr. Sheff worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention evaluating health communication strategies and messaging during public health emergencies.
