BeLinda Weimer is a Research Public Health Analyst in violence prevention and harm reduction. Ms. Weimer has over 25 years of experience conducting health and social policy research, including needs assessments, program and outcome evaluations, landscape analyses, drug surveillance data collection and reporting, dissemination, and survey development and implementation. Much of her work has involved the recruitment and survey of forensic and toxicology laboratories. In addition, Ms. Weimer has experience identifying and tracking training and technical assistance (TTA) needs, developing TTA documents and webinars, and providing TTA to grantees regarding evaluation and data collection issues.

Ms. Weimer is the Principal Investigator for the 2024 Census of Publicly Funded Forensic Crime Laboratories. She was a key member of the National Forensic Laboratory Information System (NFLIS), serving in many roles including as the Survey Task Lead. Through her leadership, NFLIS achieved a 90% or higher response rate for the survey of crime laboratory drug chemistry sections administered in 2008, 2013, and 2019. Ms. Weimer has contributed to many state and federal efforts to prevent and reduce substance abuse, treat post-traumatic stress, prevent violence in relationships, and promote mental health.
