Dr. Meredith McCormac is a senior international education professional and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) specialist with over 15 years of experience implementing large-scale USAID-funded programs and leading results-focused teams. Since joining RTI in 2022, Dr. McCormac has provided technical assistance in education systems strengthening and research and M&E to several projects and is also the Deputy Director and Senior M&E Advisor of RTI’s Improving Learning Outcomes for Asia program, funded by USAID.

Prior to joining RTI, Dr. McCormac served the Southern and East Africa regions as an Education Specialist for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), where she focused on policy and planning and education systems transformation. Before joining GPE, as Vice President of Organizational Growth and Learning at World Learning, she led the organization’s M&E and business development teams. Additionally, as World Learning’s Pakistan Country Representative, Dr. McCormac managed World Learning’s subgrant on the USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project, managing a team of 110 staff across 3 geographic regions, and oversaw a broader $60+ million USAID/Pakistan portfolio where she fostered relationships with local partners, Ministry officials, donors, and private sector and development organizations. In other roles, she has managed and provided technical assistance on programs that focus on basic education, girls and youth empowerment, workforce development, and institutional strengthening in 17 countries. Dr. McCormac is based in RTI’s regional office in Nairobi, Kenya.
