Joseph Edney is an educational consultant with expertise in strategic planning, business development, program implementation and change management. He has experience as a lead consultant, business development specialist, and project manager for several strategic initiatives and projects.

Prior to joining RTI, Mr. Edney held roles focused on education improvement and entrepreneurship, including serving as strategy analyst and chief of staff for a national K–12 education consulting organization. Before specializing in education, he worked for a private-sector management consulting firm where he focused on business planning and systems improvement.
