Jana Scislowicz is an experienced international education professional who has managed major programs focused on literacy in several countries. She is an expert in the Early Grade Reading Assessment (EGRA), Early Grade Mathematics Assessment (EGMA), and all aspects of program management, including regulatory compliance, process improvement, human resources, procurement and logistics, finance and budgeting, staff recruitment and retention, training, capacity building and mentoring, and program coordination.

Currently, Ms. Scislowicz serves as Senior Project Manager for the USAID/Cambodia All Children Reading and Learning Projects. She is responsible for the project’s overall performance and works closely with the Chief of Party and the Technical Division to assure client satisfaction.

Ms. Scislowicz previously served as Deputy Chief of Party and Acting Chief of Party for the USAID/Tanzania Tusome Pamoja Program. She partnerships with the client, implementers, and stakeholders and fostered coordination, including between the program’s headquarters and five regional offices in Tanzania. She oversaw human resources, procurement and logistics, finance, administration, and information technology for the program. She also coordinated detailed management plans and administered mobile money payments to thousands of training participants.

Ms. Scislowicz joined RTI in 2010. She speaks French at an advanced level and studied at the School for International Training in Madagascar. Her notable publications include Study on the readiness of the political, legal, health and community systems to respond to gender-based violence in three districts of the city of Kigali.
