James Johnson is a regional manager in Indonesia for the United States Agency for International Development's Act to End NTDs | East program, a global flagship initiative to help endemic countries fight neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). In this role, Mr. Johnson supports ministries of health throughout Asia to increase the reach of treatment, support the tracking of progress, and help ensure national governments can sustain NTD progress into the future.

Mr. Johnson has over 35 years’ experience managing a variety of international development projects, most of them funded by the USAID. He has extensive experience collaborating with governments and civil institutions in the design and management of development programs in public health, including neglected tropical diseases, HIV, health education and promotion, and family planning.
