Donia Slack is the Strategic Account Executive who oversees client relations for RTI’s Department of Justice accounts. RTI’s Justice portfolio includes contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants supporting research, evaluation, quality assurance, standards development and testing, technical assistance, and knowledge translation across all areas of the criminal legal community. Ms. Slack has experience leading technology-driven efforts in support of basic and applied research, serving the public safety and forensic science communities.
Ms. Slack has almost two decades of management experience directing complex research and operational efforts serving the Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Defense (DoD), and the intelligence community, and currently serves as the Executive Program Manager of the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), a national clearinghouse funded by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), which offers critical investigation support and free forensic services to facilitate the resolution of missing and unidentified persons cases nationwide. Before joining RTI, Ms. Slack was the Director of the U.S. Government Research and Development division at Bode Technology, the country’s largest private forensic DNA company.
