Cynthia Salmons

Cynthia Salmons is a Research Chemist and the quality manager for RTI's proficiency testing programs for AIHA and NVLAP. She performs audits and reviews data and reports for these programs. She also assists with preparing quality documentation such as quality manuals and quality assurance plans. She conducts an annual audit of RTI's subcontractor that supplies silica and metals samples. 

Ms. Salmons also provides quality assurance to RTI’s gravimetry laboratory and support to a variety of projects, including RTI’s proficiency testing programs for asbestos, metals, silica, and organics. She also supports laboratories that are accredited to ISO and TNI standards. Previously, she was a coauthor of several EPA QA guidance documents.
