Christine Rasmussen is a Director of Systems Development at RTI, and an expert in the technologies that support our major education studies. Among the projects she contributes to are the National Postsecondary Student Aid Study, Beginning Postsecondary Students Longitudinal Study, Baccalaureate and Beyond Longitudinal Study, Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, and Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study.

Since 1988, Ms. Rasmussen has led teams of developers and database programmers for large-scale Department of Education-funded data collections. She developed a SQL-based relational database structure for a survey management system as one of her first tasks upon being hired, which ultimately became the foundation for the database structure underlying RTI’s Survey Management System that’s used today to facilitate data collections. With her expertise, she helps organizations manage extensive survey data collections and keep data collection systems current, flexible, and efficient.
