Christine Bevc specializes in research and evaluation of public health systems and services. With expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods, Dr. Bevc ensures that findings and results are relevant and readily translated into practice.

Many of Dr. Bevc’s recent studies build on integrated systems and services to improve social and health organizations through coordination and collaboration. Her work incorporates network-based approaches and analyses to improve services and outcomes for at-risk populations. She has worked on several projects involving public health preparedness, response, and recovery. She is a co-investigator of a cyberlearning and technologies project to help citizen scientists investigate the impacts of weather and climate on coastal communities.

Dr. Bevc came to RTI in 2016 from the North Carolina Institute for Public Health, where she was an epidemiologist research associate. She is a member of National Health Security Preparedness Index’s Analytic Methodology & Model Design Workgroup, Academy Health, and the International Network for Social Network Analysis.
