Anne Crook Lutes is an environmental risk assessor and technical communications specialist. She joined the RTI team in 1989 and spent eight years as a technical editor for RTI’s in-house editorial group. She was responsible for various written media, including technical reports to clients, software user guides, and peer-reviewed journal articles. Ms. Lutes also has over 35 years of experience conducting domestic chemical risk assessments.

Currently, Ms. Lutes focuses her communication skills on multiple publications, including the Final Ecosystem Goods and Services (FEGS) Metrics report. Many ecosystem experts authored the report, and Ms. Lutes led the initiative to ensure all sections were parallel with effective graphics and enhanced text. She also oversaw content for the Industrial Waste Management Evaluation Model 3.1. User Guide and the companion Technical Background Document.

In addition to her listed reports and guides, Ms. Lutes managed the consistency of the Journal of Nutrition on the 2016 Feeding Infants and Toddlers Study (FITS 2016). The study includes six technical papers and two commentaries written by more than a dozen experts. Ms. Lutes facilitated collaborations with the authors to ensure coherence.
