Cocaine receptor binding ligands
3.beta.-[4-iodophenyl]-tropan-2.beta.-carboxylic acid methylester tartrate is a high affinity binding ligand forneurotransmitters in mammalian brains. It and its congeners may beemployed for imaging and other brain scanning techniques that allowthe determination of the presence of cocaine receptors, such asneurotransmitters and the like.
