RTI Pilot Xcelerator facility overview
The RTI Pilot Xcelerator is the only privately owned pilot-scale energy facility in the Southeast and one of a few in the nation.
With over 25,000 ft² of process bay space and 16,000 ft² of analytical, chemical, and test laboratory space, we provide the utilities needed for pilot-scale demonstrations. Our indoor and outdoor plug-and-play bays are ultra-flexible, adapting to each technology’s needs.

In 2026, RTI opened a significant expansion of the RTI Pilot Xcelerator, giving innovators access to pilot infrastructure designed to generate the performance data needed to move technologies closer to deployment.
