From Learning to Adapting: How do we get to learning and where do we go from there?
Makati City, Philippines
118 Legazpi Street, Legazpi Village
USAID's Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) approach challenges development practitioners to go beyond simply collecting and reporting monitoring & evaluation (M&E) and research data; it sets up a framework in which practitioners advance toward critically evaluating the evidence to inform key decisions for improving programs. What are we learning from our programs? What is working? What is not working? Why? And what next?
RTI International currently implements four programs (LuzonHealth, ENVISION, STRIDE, and B-LEADERS) across multiple sectors including global health, energy, governance and economic development in the Philippines. RTI also recently led national research projects in basic education through PhilEd Data. Our Learning Summit will feature participants presenting their experiences (successes as well as challenges) related to learning and adapting and how their work is moving beyond traditional M&E practices to a more dynamic learning and adapting model.
