Steven Cohen Co-Authors Piece for AMSTAT News on Improving Federal Statistics

The article highlights the importance of work by the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics (COPAFS)

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Steven Cohen, Ph.D., Vice President of the Division for Statistical and Data Sciences at RTI International, recently co-authored an article for AMSTAT News, the membership magazine of the American Statistical Association, that highlights the progress made to improve federal statistics.

The piece was written in collaboration with Paul Schroeder, Executive Director of the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics (COPAFS).

The article highlights the efforts of COPAFS in advancing the quality of federal statistics and informing stakeholders of issues impacting the federal statistical system and statistical policy initiatives.
