Jeremiah Hartsock is a Public Health Analyst at RTI who focuses on the evaluation, implementation, and support of payment models. In his role, Mr. Hartsock leverages information science to promote the development of innovative solutions for data management, analysis, and storytelling.

He currently assists in the implementation of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Primary Care First (PCF) model, which aims to improve quality and patient experience of care and reduce expenditures by increasing access to advanced primary care options. In this project, Mr. Hartsock uses his informatics expertise to assist in gathering requirements of user-requested changes to the practice-facing information portal through acceptability testing. He also leads the descriptive and longitudinal analysis of survey measures related to health care quality, patient experience of care, and health care utilization for yearly publications. Additionally, as a data manager, Mr. Hartsock performs quality control, defines data for use in analytics, and develops warehousing documentation and strategies for the longevity of analytic files in the PCF data repository.

He also serves as a technical liaison, ensuring that data security guidelines can be maintained to meet investigator needs and contract regulations. Mr. Hartsock is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Science degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
