The Opportunity to Build a District-Wide Program to Increase Teacher Compensation
RTI’s Center for Education Services (CES), in partnership with Safal Partners, two national leaders in educational innovation, are partnering to change the status quo. We believe that teachers are the single most significant in-school factor influencing student outcomes, and such dedicated and passionate educators should be fairly compensated for their vital work.
RTI and Safal Partners are developing a professional and no-nonsense approach to facilitate the planning and implementation of a Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) system designed to secure state funding, empower teachers, and recruit and retain the top teacher talent that your district needs.

Our Approach
We propose to deliver a program of support based on the following priorities:

Assist districts in developing and implementing a locally designed designation system that would result in the district receiving TIA funding.

Facilitate a structured strategic planning process resulting in a high-quality performance-based compensation plan.

Engage leadership and stakeholders across the district community in the strategic plan development process.

Support the TIA application process and first-year implementation to position the district to submit teacher designations and data for system approval.
Though RTI and Safal Partners will facilitate the process and provide tools and techniques to support development, we will be careful to remain “behind the scenes” and rely on a partnership approach with all stakeholders to achieve an approved Teacher Incentive Allotment system.
