Angela Hinson Quick serves as senior vice president of RTI International’s Solutions unit, where she leads the development and delivery of customized, interdisciplinary solutions that help clients address complex challenges and achieve meaningful impact. Drawing upon RTI's diverse expertise across research, technology, analytics, and implementation, she works to advance innovative approaches that improve outcomes for communities, organizations, and systems worldwide.

Dr. Quick joined RTI in 2016 and has held a series of senior leadership roles spanning education, workforce development, and organizational growth. Prior to leading the Solutions unit, she served as senior vice president of RTI's Education unit and led the Education Practice Area. She brings extensive experience in educational leadership and organizational transformation, having previously served as deputy chief academic officer for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and interim CEO of NC New Schools. Throughout her career, she has successfully guided organizations and teams through complex transitions, strategic growth initiatives, and large-scale change efforts.

Dr. Quick began her career as a classroom teacher and went on to become an award-winning principal and education leader. Her work has focused on strengthening educational systems through curriculum innovation, instructional improvement, assessment design, accountability frameworks, and workforce development strategies. At the state and national levels, she has led initiatives that support education transformation and improve outcomes for students, educators, and employers.

As a researcher and thought leader, Dr. Quick's work has focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, school design, coursework articulation, workforce pathways, and talent development. Her unique combination of practitioner, researcher, and executive leadership experience enables her to bridge strategy and implementation in support of innovative solutions that deliver measurable results.
