Health Care Quality and Care Experience Measurement

Evaluating the quality and experience of care

Evaluating the quality of health care and care experiences is crucial to understanding the impact of new interventions and programs. Understanding health care quality and the experiences of care can help improve both. This can be acomplished through quality improvement initiatives, quality measure development, performance assessment and benchmarking, provider feedback and incentives, or some combination. RTI offers deep expertise in quality measurement, policy analysis, applied research, customized technical assistance, and evaluation services.

We are experienced in analyzing federal, state, and local policies and programs related to health care quality and care experiences. We also have a thorough understanding of care experience measures, such as those used to survey Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries every year. Our team has experienced researchers and analysts who apply innovative approaches and bring comprehensive competencies—from high-level conceptualization to on-the-ground implementation.
