Heather Beil is a senior research public health analyst within our Health Coverage for Low-income and Uninsured Populations program. Dr. Beil’s research focuses on evaluating payment and delivery models, access to care, behavioral health integration and state-based health reform, with a particular focus on Medicaid populations. She has extensive experience using quantitative methods with commercial and Medicaid claims data.
Dr. Beil’s research interests include maternal and child health, access and quality of care for low-income and vulnerable populations, and Medicaid policy. She has published and presented on the topics of behavioral health integration, hospital global budgets in Maryland’s All-Payer Model, mental health and pediatric health.
