Anna Wetterberg has more than 20 years of experience working on research and project implementation in international development, with a focus on governance and policy analysis. She has designed and led numerous mixed-method and qualitative studies with the findings published in journals such as World Development, International Public Management Journal, Public Administration Review, and Development in Practice. Dr. Wetterberg has recently focused her research on governance approaches to service delivery and capacity-building for local organizations. She also has experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and has presented and published research directed at policymakers and academic audiences. In Indonesia, Dr. Wetterberg led a policy research and training program at the Ministry of Agriculture, worked on strengthening public and private sector support for small business development, and developed the monitoring and evaluation framework for the country’s largest poverty alleviation and participatory planning program.

We publish on a broad range of topics reflecting RTI’s multidisciplinary research, expertise in social and laboratory sciences, and extensive international activities.
