Cross-Disciplinary Resources to Engage Students with Water Quality
Mills, N., Bethelmy, C., & White, W. (2025). Unleaded Learning: Cross-Disciplinary Resources to Engage Students with Water Quality. North Carolina Science Teachers Association Conference 2025.
Join us for a hands-on workshop to learn how Clean Water for Carolina Kids curriculum materials support student learning about lead in water through mitigation strategies, data analysis of North Carolina water samples, and health implications for individuals exposed to lead. During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to experience elements of a Project-based Learning unit and come away with resources that you can adapt for use in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms.
RTI shares its evidence-based research - through peer-reviewed publications and media - to ensure that it is accessible for others to build on, in line with our mission and scientific standards.
