Thaïs Matha is an Innovation Analyst at RTI Innovation Advisors, a business unit of RTI International. With a background in chemical engineering and sustainability, she lends her expertise to federal agencies and commercial enterprises, offering support in technology scouting, partner scouting, strategic thinking, and beyond.

Currently, Ms. Matha is focused on scouting technology to replace PFAS, known as a forever chemical, within existing products. Her research spans bioplastic composting infrastructures in North America, providing a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of plastic composting. She also works towards improving sustainable packaging and understanding plastic waste management infrastructures globally. 

In her role, she actively provides strategic insights to clients, guiding them in navigating the evolving landscape of sustainable investments. Leveraging her analytical skills, she ensures clients are well-versed in their range of options and future opportunities. Dedicated to addressing environmental challenges, she is at the forefront of efforts supporting clients towards the adoption of a circular economy.
