Nidu Menon is a Senior Research Public Health Analyst in RTI’s Health Care Quality and Outcomes Program. She has more than 20 years of experience in public health and healthcare policy development, population health management, with expertise in development and measurement of quality of care, and patient health outcomes. Dr. Menon has implemented and led several high-profile initiatives for both State and Federal Governments. She is currently the task lead for managing practice composition for the multi state Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+), and a task Advisor for Primary Care First (PCF)a new initiative by the Centers of Medicaid and Medicare Innovation (CMMI). She also supports RTI’s work on Alternate Payment Models.
Dr. Menon joined RTI in 2018. Prior to coming to RTI, she has held various positions both within the Massachusetts Department of Public Health as well as in North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Her most recent position prior to RTI was as the Director of Integrated Health Management for one of the largest self-funded State Health Plans (NCSHP), responsible for the strategic planning, development, implementation of the Plan's population health management strategy which included development of an alternate payment model for primary care practices. She is a member of American Public Health Association (APHA and American Evaluation Association (AEA).
