Moges Gebremedhin directs RTI’s operations in Africa. From our regional office in Nairobi, Kenya, he oversees operational support services across the continent, with a focus on compliance, growth, and client relations. Mr. Gebremedhin brings skills in proposal development, grant planning and management, and communication to the role, along with a passion for development and a deep network of partners throughout the region.
Current work under Mr. Gebremedhin’s leadership includes supporting programs in East Africa related to food security, health, water management, and innovation-led economic development. He is also helping us adapt to the “Better than Cash” initiative, which is USAID’s effort to move toward mobile payments.
Mr. Gebremedhin joined RTI in 2016 after more than 18 years in international development with Danya International, Chemonics International, and other organizations in the United States, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, and Malawi. His background also includes work in communications and media consulting for civil society and the public sector in East Africa.
