Jordana Hemberg specializes in community-based public health research with marginalized populations. Currently, Ms. Hemberg is the Associate Project Director for a mixed-methods study funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, exploring polysubstance use and overdose risk. She also coordinates two longitudinal studies among women involved in the criminal legal system, examining health care access and utilization, and sexual and reproductive health risk.
Ms. Hemberg joined RTI in 2017. Previously, she worked as a research associate with the Alcohol Research Group at the Public Health Institute and with the Integrated Substance Abuse Program at the University of California Los Angeles. She is a member of the American Public Health Association.
