Jennifer Ryan is a Research Education Data Analyst in RTI’s International Development Group with 10 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and research. She has overseen data cleaning, data processing, quality control, and assured data accuracy for early grade student assessments and program monitoring and evaluation across multiple countries and languages.

Ms. Ryan is passionate about data quality and the ability for good data to influence decision making in sustainable development and works to build in-country capacity for these skills at all opportunities. She is also passionate about inclusive education and the opportunities Universal Design for Learning and Assessment provide for equitable access to learning and assessment in the early grades.

Ms. Ryan has worked with the XPRIZE Foundation to evaluate the Global Learning XPRIZE challenge in 2018. She has also worked alongside numerous USAID-funded Early Grade Reading programs to field test and validate tools for various forms of student assessment, including adaptations for students with hearing and vision impairments. Ms. Ryan is an instrumental member of the team working on the Early Grade Reading Barometer, which serves as a one-stop-shop for early grade reading data.
