Certified Food Scientist and Innovation Advisor Susan Mayer heads to Minneapolis and the Women in Agribusiness Forum where she presents on how to use a design thinking approach to solve innovation challenges. In her workshop, participants will learn basic design thinking concepts. They’ll also see how these concepts come to life for food and consumer goods companies.
Susan believes that a human-centered design perspective makes all the difference in innovation. ‘Product developers always believe they are thinking about the consumer. However, a human-centered design approach to considering technology brings an entirely different perspective,’ she explains.
