This study is attempted to trace the newest research progress of oil hydrogenated modification through introducing the most widely accepted mechanism of oil hydrogenation, the development of catalyst used in oil hydrogenation as well as the significant factors that impact the selectivity of oil hydrogenation, which can provide a basis and reference for further researches on oil hydrogenation.
