Telly Award Recognizes Work Produced by RTI International

HAMPTON, Va.— RTI International staff members received a Telly award for producing a video about NASA Langley Research Center.

The project was part of an RTI contract with NASA that supports marketing and outreach activities at NASA Langley. RTI and other Langley staff members worked together to develop the video. The video, NASA Langley: Solving Problems for More than 95 Years, received a Bronze award in the non-broadcast productions, government relations category of the 34th Annual Telly Awards.

The video highlights Langley’s history as NASA’s first center and its vision of the future, which is based on NASA’s strategic goals for aerospace. The center overview is told in the first person by Langley employees.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. The Telly Awards received nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and several countries this year.

Submissions were judged by a panel of more than 500 industry professionals, each a past winner of a Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council. Entries do not compete against each other, but against a high standard of merit.
