RTI International Named One of America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes

The rankings are comprised of 500 companies and based on a sample of 50,000 U.S. employees

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — For the fifth straight time, Forbes has included RTI International, a nonprofit research institute, in its list of America’s Best Midsize Employers.

RTI is ranked #285 out of 500 companies in the 2021 iteration of the list, released today. Inclusion was based on an independent survey from a sample of 50,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations.

“We are proud to again be recognized as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers,” said RTI President and CEO E. Wayne Holden, Ph.D. “As an organization, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that allows our staff to thrive as they deliver on the promise of science for global good.”

Employees who were surveyed were asked open-ended questions about their own employer and other employers in their respective industries. The surveys were anonymous and completed through several online panels.
