Neale D’Rozario named chief information officer for RTI International

RESARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Neale D’Rozario joined RTI International as chief information officer, where he will lead the development and implementation of technology strategies for the institute.

“Neale has global experience and a successful track record of providing value by helping companies grow revenue, generating process efficiencies and aligning IT to the strategy of the organization,” said Mike Kaelin, chief financial officer at RTI. “He is technically outstanding, an open and transparent leader, and someone who will be focused on generating results. I look forward to having him join our team.”

As chief information officer, Neale will have responsibility for overall business technology planning, determining the institute’s long-term information technology needs, and developing and implementing strategies for improving RTI’s application environment. He will help drive efficiencies in RTI’s infrastructure, improving service delivery and protecting RTI’s corporate information systems and equipment. His initial priority will be to create a global IT strategy that aligns with and helps drive RTI’s strategic business plan and includes both internal customer and external customer needs.  

In addition, Neale will lead the effort to develop a streamlined, integrated business information and analytics platform for RTI and will develop strategies to leverage mobile technologies. 

Neale has been in the IT profession for more than 33 years, the last 21 of which he has been a CIO. He has been CIO for Genworth Financial, Sensus USA, Misys Healthcare Systems, Channel Master LLC, Cogent Communications, SunTrust Capital Markets and Barclays Capital. He is also the founder and president of D’Rozario Consulting Services.

Neale attended the John Warner School in the United Kingdom. He is a member of the North Carolina Technology Association.
