"The 2014 class of winners shows the experience and expertise we have in the financial sector in this community," said Bryan Hamilton, publisher of Triangle Business Journal. "Not only are they providing sound fiscal oversight for their companies, they are impacting how they grow."

Kaelin was named CFO of RTI in October 2012 and is responsible for managing RTI's corporate financial requirements and institute-level financial risks. He is also responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of research group finance, contracts, proposals, procurement and Information technology services.

Kaelin has more than 25 years of financial management experience, including his prior tenure as vice president of finance for Raleigh-based Misys Healthcare Inc., a leader in the healthcare information technology industry. At Misys he led a unit that provided software solutions to the physician community.
