Kati Copley-Merriman named Value in Health Editorial Advisory Board member

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC— Kati Copley-Merriman, vice president of Market Access and Outcomes Strategy at RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS), a business unit of RTI International, has been named a member of the Value in Health Editorial Advisory Board. 

Value in Health, the official journal of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), provides a forum for the advancement and dissemination of research in pharmacoeconomics and the health-related outcomes of interventions used to treat disease.  

In her four-year term, Copley-Merriman will assist the co-editors-in-chief of Value in Health by producing a more concise definition of the journal scope and providing guidance regarding editorial decisions. 

She joins Josephine Mauskopf, Ph.D., vice president of Health Economics at RTI-HS, who also has an ISPOR publications oversight role as a member of the 2014-2015 Publication Management Advisory Committee, which is responsible for overseeing the management of Value in Health, Value in Health Regional Issues, and ISPOR CONNECTIONS. Mauskopf is currently a member of the ISPOR Board of Directors.

At RTI-HS, Copley-Merriman leads a team of outcomes researchers, payer researchers, market access and reimbursement experts and medical writers responsible for developing market access strategic plans, global value dossiers, systematic and targeted literature reviews and conducting payer insight research.

Copley-Merriman also served on the ISPOR Board of Directors from 2010 to 2012.
