Forbes magazine ranks RTI International among best mid-size employers

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC—For the second year in a row, Forbes magazine has included RTI International among its list of America’s Best Employers for midsize companies.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as a best employer by Forbes for the second consecutive year,” said RTI President and CEO Wayne Holden, Ph.D. “As an organization, we’re committed to the growth and wellbeing of our staff members and their efforts to make the world a better place by solving some of its most pressing challenges.”

To create the list, Forbes conducted an independent survey of 30,000 employees at companies across America. The result is a ranking of the 500 best large employers, with more than 5,000 employees, and a separate ranking of the 250 best midsize employers, with 1,000 to 5,000 employees.

“We’re pleased that our diverse team of staff members see RTI as a place where they can thrive,” said Lisa May, RTI executive vice president of Human Resources. “We will continue to invest in our staff as they accomplish our shared mission of improving the human condition.”

The survey asked employees to rank both their own company as an employer and other companies in the same industry sector.

This is the third year Forbes has published the America's Best Employers list. The entire list of 2017 mid-size employers is available here. In addition, the list of large employers is available here.
