Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awards RTI International 10-year blanket purchase agreement for health marketing

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – RTI International received a new multiple-award blanket purchase agreement for health marketing by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office of the Associate Director for Communication.

The 10-year agreement includes five base years and five 12-month option periods. RTI was one of 16 firms awarded the agreement. RTI has worked with the CDC for more than five decades.

"RTI is looking forward to continuing our work to support the CDC with communication and marketing activities as the agency embarks on new opportunities," said Lauren McCormack, Ph.D., RTI's team lead for the agreement. "Our experts explore and evaluate diverse public health problems to facilitate a deeper understanding of how communication strategy and science can be applied as part of the solution."

The RTI team, including its Center for Communication Science, is unique in that it provides the CDC with the full continuum of communication and marketing services.  This newly awarded agreement will allow RTI to continue partnering with the CDC on important public health  projects, leveraging RTI's expertise in the areas of  audience research, campaign planning and development, social media and digital engagement, and process and outcome evaluation.
