Social Impact Assessment

Social impact assessment evaluates how a proposed project, policy, or program might affect the social environment of a community. This includes potential effects on employment, public health, culture, housing, equity, and community cohesion. RTI uses social impact assessments to ensure that major initiatives support community well-being and reduce unintended consequences.
