Harm Reduction

Harm reduction refers to strategies and services that aim to reduce the negative health and social consequences associated with certain behaviors, particularly substance use. Examples include syringe services programs, naloxone distribution, and safe consumption spaces. RTI works with communities and public health agencies to develop, evaluate, and refine harm reduction approaches that save lives and improve well-being.
