As a digital/social media health research analyst, Stephanie Lane uses program evaluation techniques and analytics to evaluate public health digital media campaigns. Ms. Lane also has experience with using social media listening tools to help clients better understand public discourse on campaign topics and emerging public health and safety issues. She provides guidance to clients by staying on top of emerging social and digital media tools and trends and advising on how to best reach key audiences with digital communication.

Currently at RTI, Ms. Lane leads the digital and social media evaluation of Tobacco Free Florida’s tobacco cessation and prevention campaigns. This includes conducting analyses to better understand campaign reach to target audiences in Florida, tracking campaign performance, and providing the client with ongoing recommendations for campaign improvement that are based on evaluation results and campaign goals.

Stephanie Lane joined RTI in 2020. Before then, her background includes leading campaign strategy and implementation for multiple healthcare and education clients. Ms. Lane has also worked as a research assistant and communication coordinator with UNC’s Children’s Healthy Weight Research Program Go NAPSACC. Her prior experience in leading campaign strategy and implementation for multiple organizations enables Ms. Lane to better evaluate clients’ digital media campaigns in the context of modern-day digital marketing challenges and opportunities.
