Stacy Costello is an educational consultant with national expertise in innovative program design and alternative certification pathways for teachers, especially in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines. Ms. Costello has substantial experience as a practitioner, having served as a secondary science teacher with an emphasis in interdisciplinary curricula and specialty subject areas. 

During her tenure in the classroom, Ms. Costello developed several curricula, including a grade 9-12 curriculum for NASA Langley titled Space Medicine: Human Adaptation in a Space Environment. Prior to joining RTI, she focused on early college supports serving as a consultant for effective early college design and implementation. While working for the state department of North Carolina, Ms. Costello supported state-level district and school turnaround efforts. Most recently her emphasis has included partnership development, change management, and strategic consulting for state and local education initiatives.
