Scott Ginder has 16 years of experience as a research statistician, including 13 years as the Program Manager for Education Research within the Division for Statistical and Data Sciences at RTI. He is an expert in the application of SAS programming, statistical skills, and effective management techniques to lead the analysis and statistical tasks of large, complex research projects. He also has experience in selecting samples, calculating sampling weight adjustments, imputing missing data, and ensuring survey data quality.
Mr. Ginder has developed a qualified and motivated staff of statisticians and programmers in data management, data quality assurance, and analysis. He is adept at using and understanding the complexities of large relational databases, implementing large-scale quality control programs, and applying various statistical disclosure limitation methodologies. Mr. Ginder is the Data Quality, Statistical, and Analysis Task Leader for the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and leads RTI’s effort on the College Scorecard. Outside of RTI he is a conference abstract reviewer for the Association for Institutional Research.
